Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in Indian Premier League (IPL) history when Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bought him for a whopping 27 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction in Saudi Arabia. As many as four franchises - Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals - enter the auction with a search for a captain.
